Hi, you are probably thinking this is weird - yep it is. BUT we are off on an 17-day adventure today and will not be back until mid-July. The red line maps our first four days, the rest is off-the-track travel, so we will be away from our computer for a while. We plan on coming back via the Oodnadatta Track (weather permitting). So we will see you all then, and hope to bore you all with our holiday snaps. Take care and stay safe - Alix and Brian

By Alix When out a few weeks ago on night shots we snuck into the Block Arcade, and took some pics before the security man asked us nicely to leave. That's him in the left of the image. It is much nicer than this image portrays, but I liked the lines in the roof.

By Alix St Paul's Catherderal is located at the intersection of Swanston and Flinders Streets, Melbourne. It has to be the most photographed chruch around. I took this form the steps and angled my tripod up. I photographed this chuch last year (2007) and won 1st place in our camera club with an image a little further away. UPDATE: My image of the white flower at http://acebr.shutterchance.com/photoblog/Flower_/ was placed 3rd last week at our camera club. You should have seen the judge's face when I put my hand up to claim the points. He was a little surprised to see an 11-year old there.

This image was taken on our Christmas 4WD trip. It is my father-in-law in top of a sand dune. he is not a fan of having his picture taken so I had to wait until he turned around. I just love the isolation of the image - Brian PS: I get on very well with my in-laws and we are off on a 17-day trip very soon
