photoblog image Brachina Gorge - 1

Brachina Gorge - 1

This image was from last Sunday morning.  It is in Brachina Gorge (Flinders Ranges) Soouth Australia.  The cloud colour and formation was great, as this image depicts (I have not done anything ot the image).

Unfortunately the rain clouds cause the road we were to travel to go from duty to muddy overnight.  The mud was that thick that at one stage we had an inch of mud on the tyres and no tread to be seen.  This caused the 4WD and attached trailer to slide out several times.  But it was worth it!

Enjoy - Brian

What fabulous contrasts in the cloud colour and hills. Love the trees in silhouette.

That's a wonderfully ominous looking sky. A delightful photograph
Brian & Alix: Hi, thanks for the feedback. I am glad I captured the mood at the right time.

Some good stuff here. I'd give a lot for landscapes like this to shoot...sigh
Brian & Alix: Hi Stan, they are lovely - but also some 1500 kms from my home. Not sure if you read back a few images but we went on a 6000 km journey through Central Australia. It was great to see the heart of Australia. Thanks for dropping by.
